Our first METAL 3D print

Our first METAL 3D print: newly designed P90 cutoff lever. Printed in solid 17-4PH stainless steel, this has higher hardness and strength compared to aluminum and normal 316SS. This one is just a prototype, but in a few months these should be available to order!

3D printing our own cutoff levers in 17-4SS metal allowed us to solve any supply issues, improve the durability compared to all other aftermarket options, and make some design changes for better function. Some thin areas were beefed up and we put a clearance cutout to allow for tall sector gear bearings that may protrude from the gearbox shell (like on the Krytac).

This idea came about while designing the new M-Trigger for the Krytac P90. The M-Trigger needs a normal TM-style cutoff lever to work with the Krytac. However, I found that nearly all stores are sold out of P90 cutoff levers, or only had the expensive Prometheus ones. This was a problem if I want Krytac owners to adopt the M-Trigger. So, this was our solution.
